Our research aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry in the field of organic optoelectronic materials and devices such as liquid crystals, organic semiconductors and displays. Our activities include the analytical investigations on photoluminescence and intriguing molecular alignment in display materials, cellulose photonics, and liquid crystal devices for mid-infrared and THz electromagnetic waves. By studying these research areas, our purpose is to explore the multidisciplinary photonics and materials science, addressing current technical challenges. In OESM Lab, we are constantly recruiting graduate and undergraduate students who are interested in our research and highly motivated.
