Shawn S. H. Hsu was born
in Tainan, Taiwan. He received the B.S. degree from National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1992, the M.S. degree from the
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree from the University
of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2003. He is currently an Associate Professor in
the Institute of Electronics Engineering, National Tsing
Hua University. His current research interests
include the design of MMICs and RFICs using Si/III¡VV-based devices for
low-noise, high-linearity, and high-efficiency system-on-chip (SOC)
applications. He is also involved with the design, fabrication, and modeling
of high frequency transistors and interconnects. Professor Hsu serves as a
technical program committee member in SSDM (2008-present) and A-SSCC
(2008-present). He was the recipient of the Junior Faculty Research Award of
National Tsing Hua
University in 2007 and the Outstanding Young Electrical Engineer Award of the
Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering in 2009.¡@ |
